Actions in a day are beyond estimation.
=============================
A day is the unit of living. Today is the 16th of the current month. Lo and behold, half of this month is over. Yeah, only three and a half months are left in 2023. Time flies like this, and we are still standing unchanged. No, no. Life is to act, not stay still. Life is meant to make an impact, not simply be busy. Life is precious. Many moments must be wonderful. Time will not come back. Time lost here and there was a great error, but don’t pay interest on it with regrets and justification. We have days ahead.
Going further and deeper, I came to know the importance of a second. Yesterday, I intentionally looked at the watch and the pointer on the second. One round is complete, and a minute is gone. One idea came to mind in those moments, and I started keeping books in order and then saw the calendar to ascertain what was urgent today. I have a separate list of what is important this week. It is to be seen just a bit later.
In a minute, I called someone to ask about their well-being. He was happy to talk after a long gap. This is the power of one minute. In the next moments, I read a note of more than 100 words in one minute and got the essence. Before taking breakfast, many thoughts travelled through my mind but were not retained. Minute by minute, thoughts are in motion. I held some moments, segregated many items of no use, and created space for new items in my reading room.
Yesterday, as per routine, I devoted an hour to reading some pages of a book and taking note of some concepts. In my opinion, it is worthy in many ways. My friends were claiming digital reading of books of their interest, but I came to know that distractions are much larger than concentration. One hour is enough to add good concepts and delete bad information. Speakers make a deep-rooted impact on the audience in one hour, and some of them change paths of thinking. This is the power of an hour.
In a day, many things happen. I just went through what I did yesterday, and in my judgement, my time was possibly the best utilised. In practice, I see what I learned, what I shared, and how I am better than the previous day, and I assess some more things per day, though yesterday was pinpointed to be specific.
In a week, there is generally one day off. That is the right day to review progress in the week, which is just ending. In my case, I had many working hours, and I met different kinds of people. I made good progress on the assignment at hand. There was a minimum waste of working hours. It happened because of my curiosity to learn something new every day from all kinds of sources. This is the power of a week.
In a month, progress becomes prominent. If nothing tangible happens in a month, we must be proactive to set things right. In a target period of one year, we have to complete 8 to 10 percent of the total work to avoid hurrying up in the end.
A year is a big unit of life. We celebrate the completion of the year in a variety of ways. Well. But this occasion must be utilised to make a resolution for next year. Apart from looking back on the charming moments of the year, we must examine changes in my dealings, behaviour, value addition, and getting rid of at least one conspicuous bad habit. If so, it is hilarious; otherwise, it is a day to ponder.
When we move from insights to application, time is utilised in the best way. Acquiring knowledge is a better way to make use of time, but in the absence of disseminating and sharing, capturing information becomes a burden and only inspires an eagerness to hoard something.
In brief

There is no cure for those who are not ready to value the minutes, hours, days, and months of their lives. They are counting birthdays but adding nothing to their personalities. In a finite time span of life, we may not be able to look at all the trees (events) in a forest (our whole lives), but we can get an idea of how beautiful the forest is and how other creatures are enjoying it.
