Adding something to our capabilities yearly
We celebrate some occasions every year, like the new year, birthdays, festivals, and so on. Let it be more meaningful. Don’t keep these moments limited to formalities.
We may work on exploring our areas of strength or minimising our areas of weakness. We may look into creating something not yet known. We may something revive which were left behind. We may hold more certificates or degrees to make the best use of our available time. We may improve our relationship. If we are not systemic in our food habits, we may regulate them by insisting on getting a nutritious or balanced diet.
Any individual can have a long list of ways to make himself or herself better year after year.
Normally, we enjoy the occasions with full pomp and show and rarely take note of getting any sort of benefit from them.
We have not done anything in the past in that way. It is not in practice. No issue. From now on, do it. It is quite possible. Something may require more than one year of completion; let it go forward for next year. In the meantime, we may take on another assignment of our choice on a yearly basis. This may be the right course for self-improvement.
Work on a fresh set of ideas every year. Irrespective of the nature of engagements, there is a long scale of improvement for any one. Here, the right work at the right time matters.
Focusing on improving soft skills or hard skills or doing something beyond the ordinary is far better than the accumulation of comforts or top-branded materials.
Giving priority to boosting our inner strength has always been found to be more beneficial than competing with others in a variety of areas that are not as important.
Whatever we choose to do on memorable occasions, make it happen, and forget to get the nets of safety under colourful excuses.
