All your actions have consequences, sometimes immediate or mostly long-term.

Estimating the designs and depth of consequences is foresight.

Reading is an action, and it changes my attitude (a consequence).
If I take less care of my diet, I am inviting sickness (probability).
Every action has consequences that may be soft, huge, or extensive.
"Shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect. " Ralph Waldo Emerson
Our lives are the total of our thoughts, desires, decisions, beliefs, reactions, consequences, and inner power to change.
As living entities, we act, being aware of consequences and also without estimating their impact.
At times, we act without thinking about the consequences.
We can’t remain without action. So, we have to be ready for consequences, good or bad.
Normally, good actions are expected to yield good results. And bad actions end in awful situations.
To be all right, it is imperative to have a few questions in mind, as enumerated below, before taking any important actions.
♧ It is not revenge. It is not a provocation.
♧ It is not out of emotional imbalances.
It is not an imposed decision.
♧ Have I considered myself responsible for my actions?
♧ Would I be able to justify whether my action was fair and in conformity with the need for time?
♧ It is not a selfish act for self-benefit only.
♧ it is not an act of getting something anyhow. Rather, it must aim to contribute structures, facilities, smoothness, and accuracy, bringing greater comfort to infinite masses.
♧ It is a little different from thinking of people in common.
♧ Pros and cons are considered, whatever data is available. Moreover, it is duly supported by personal experiences.
♧ Not a proxy action.
♧ The reason is not just to demean others.
It is said that a person contributes to events, and events shape an individual personality.
Things are interconnected. So, our actions have to have short-term or long-term consequences.
Be careful and think before you leap. At the same time, never be an overthinker. Overthinking happens when you have a series of doubts.
"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do." Walter Bagehot
When action is warranted to make things better, we must commit to doing it.
"A river cuts through rock, not because of its power but because of its persistence." Jim. Watkins.
The result may be poor because of conditions that are not in your control.
It is time to keep ready for the next steps to increase the possibility of success by concentrating on what is in your control.
But never to opt for "giving up."
"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them." Maya Angelou
When we put a hammer on a glass, the outcome is obvious: it breaks the glass. This explanation applies to all our actions where the consequences are well known.
Some of our actions have consequences beyond our lifetime. For example, improving literacy in remote places raises understanding for the present and also for the next generation.
For whatever reason you do good deeds, it is always rewarding, apart from being the epitome of your choices of actions.
You are reaping the benefits of actions undertaken by the ancestors on records or off records. This obligation can be expanded by adding more values that relate to the present generation’s existence and shining.
Some people postpone their actions, being fearful on many counts. This attitude needs to be corrected henceforth.
Let the consequences occur. We may have time to correct our decisions.

So, to be vibrant

It is always better to try and fail. Not trying anything makes life worthless. Consequences must not impair the flow and flavour of decisions.
At times, takes tough decisions to conquer the scary design of things.
