Learning makes us know how ignorant I am.

The vast gap between principles and practices created sparks in my mind to go the extra mile in learning, despite the reality that learning never ends. However, I am working on the presumption that learning makes all the difference. 
With this curiosity, I am continuing to learn to improve myself about facts and conditioning affecting my life directly or indirectly. 
I felt that I must know essential life skills. I must be authentic. I must process the information that comes in abundance every day. I must not rely on hearsay. I must go where crowds label things as inessential. 
The answer to my curiosity was to acquire knowledge and to light a candle where ignorance reigns. 
There is no denying that knowledge not only improves the basics but is essential to changing insights and perspectives and reaching unknown settings.

Why pursue adding to knowledge when it is fathomless? I believe that knowledge is powerful enough to steer some changes when people are focused on just living in unhealthy competition and mounting on unfounded crazes. Doing something is always possible in any environment. 
My observations are a little disturbing in the sense that people have no time to verify the information and no time to know the reasons for ambiguous practices. People have fixed many things in life on the strength of hearsay and opinions. 
Curiosity" to know" has the amazing force to demolish all the nonsense that has entered our lives, knowingly or unknowingly. 
"Human behaviour flows from three main sources: desire, emotion, and knowledge." Plato. 
What we want. It is progress; it is happiness; it is a hassle-free life. But the majority are unaware of how to get them. 
It is the knowledge that is the panacea to many of our problems. Sadly, we stop acquiring knowledge once life is financially settled and we reach one milestone. We love to be in known territory and traditions. 
Knowledge forces us to think. Thinking leads to action. Actions are almost sure to add value to life and focus on reality. 
It is the knowledge that transfers tenets of living and established values from generation to generation. 
It is the knowledge that provides options for better living. It is knowledge that helped technology, and discovery that has pushed us to touch a new high. 
Yes, the application of knowledge has added many surprises in less than a quarter of the current century itself. Knowledge has given shape to various civilizations known to mankind since the beginning. 
I agree that without application, knowledge remains like grains that are yet to be made edible. 
Let us have a variety of grains of knowledge. And its uses are the next step. First knowledge, and then application. 
We are fighting for limited resources in a village, from an urban to a larger inhibition. Knowledge helps to know where extra resources are lying in the earth, sea, ocean, or space, and then the fighting is put to rest.

Knowledge is an essential input to upgrading our understanding. More knowledge is a way to make our understanding stronger.

Life is an opportunity to do more and more. Why do we opt to be at the bottom when we have ingredients like knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to go from one level of facts to another level of facts? 
In this digital age, acquiring knowledge has become quickly accessible with the system of cross-checking. Now it is an era with less moving from library to library. 
Knowledge helps to eradicate confusion. Knowledge explains the relationship between causes and consequences. Knowledge enhances confidence in what we are doing. Knowledge is the antidote to misconceptions and anomalies. 
We can say goodbye to living superficially and fearfully, provided we insist on getting drops from the ocean of knowledge every day.
