Be exposed to what you are afraid of constantly.
++++++++++++++++++++++
We want to be safe. Okay, not a bad idea, but it diminishes the meaning of life. Life is not to simply live; it is to be vibrant and unique.
If someone is seriously ill and it is raining heavily, what is the best option? There is no way out except to go outside and see the physician, protecting ourselves against unusual weather conditions.
In all spheres of life, we have to face abnormal situations almost regularly to make things happen. It is exposure. In routines, there are no exposures.
Where there is more fear, there is more learning because our strength to face the fear is exhibited.
Mostly, we are not venturing into new territories, as a variety of fears prevent us from any exposure to new work, new culture, new technology, different food, different climate, and so on. Result: no progress, constant position, like running on treadmills.
Exposure does not mean to be in excessive heat for long, laborious work, wandering aimlessly, travelling without grasping the distinguished features, migrating for money, trading only for profits, education for degrees only, promotion for supremacy, and alike. In these cases, we are exerting maximum effort to settle for the minimum of real gain, whether individually or collectively. We are not looking at the world from different perspectives. Our motive is specific and monodirectional. We gain either financially, socially, or in identity, but never pragmatically.
Honey bees travel to far-off places from flowers to flowers. They do their job sincerely and make honey. It is true exposure in the sense that distance is meaningless when purpose is in focus.
When the purpose is to explore our lives, the essential component is exposure through venturing into the territories, posing threats time and again.
Exposure does not mean jumping into darkness without knowing the details. Knowing the details is the first chapter in the book of exposure. Even for a lecture, we do some homework.
Surprisingly, many of us have no time to formulate our own thoughts and lines of action. They follow the patterns. Result: no exposures.
Many of us are habitually peeping into the lives of others, not ourselves. Result: no growth.
We are getting many breaking news stories from social media around the clock, consuming negativity more heavily than any light of goodness. Negativity multiplies.
We need to participate in healthy discussions. Add new dimensions. Scrutinise opinions before owing them.
Exposure demands practices. We learn to swim to dispel fear and gain balance in our bodies. It is then turned into more than a play. Conversely, there are people who fear even riding on boats.
We can’t have exposure in multiple fields. We may select where we are most attracted and likely to be eminent. All actions of today are going to be treasures of tomorrow when nothing is to relax except decent memories.
Remember that innovation and creativity are the makers of our memorable future, not routine.

 Core message

Wake up now. Be ready for exposure. Know the pros and cons. Read extensively. Embrace technology. Have the courage for new exposures. Dare to go extra miles where crowds fear to go.
