clash between expectations and acceptance.
Every moment, we have some expectations. The expectations for good health, better earnings, comfortable dwellings, social recognition, resolving problems, success, and happiness are the sum total of all we wish for.
We forget that we can make sincere efforts to get the maximum, but in a considerable number of instances, we have to be satisfied with the minimum.
This is the point of beginning of all clashes inside our mind. We express it or often suppress it. Expression is better than suppression. Expression helps us come to normalcy and restart our working in a new way. When we are reluctant to share our difficult moments, it harms us physically, mentally, and spiritually.
We can’t have all comforts while excluding chaos and discomforts.
We have to accept what comes with our ways of living. Denial of realities is never a solution. Acceptance does not mean surrendering to situations. It is a litmus test of our determination to go forward in spite of obstacles in our paths.
It is to remind that there are many routes to reach the single destination. Even if we have chosen a lengthy route, don’t look backward. It may take a little more time and energy, but accomplishments are certain.
Every now and then, we reach nowhere when we allow our confusion to prevail.
Take a decision, taking all known variables into account. Once we have opted for something, go ahead and make corrections when needed. Difficulties are confirmation of our choosing the right paths.
Shortcuts to achieving a goal have often cut our ambitions short. There is no record of anyone achieving a big goal without putting 100 percent into it.
Make a balance between our ambition and our unnecessary dependence on others. Don’t take appreciation or criticism at face value. Believe in our own strengths without a single grain of doubt.
The paths on which we are moving ahead may be full of fog, but it is a short-lived phenomenon that will disappear the moment the sun shows its power. Individually, in deciding our own destinations, we are like the sun.
