Converting faults into firmness
We fall and rise. Errors and omissions are part of our activities. We plan but take no action. It occurs during the shaping of our images while surrounded by people at home, school, the playground, travelling, nurturing friendships, and taking responsibility since childhood.
People start labelling us as "shy" and "stubborn" or something else. Society teaches us to fit in. People want to follow their instructions. We seek validation from others. In this process, our individuality takes the form of" what we can be."
We become a mix of good and bad habits, doing some wrongs and sometimes fulfilling social norms, with a small desire to stand out as a distinct figure, bypassing some undesirable conditionings.
Some people start manifesting their individuality at a young age, while others are still living in chaos, confusion, and inferiority syndrome. Individuals who work on converting faults into firmness achieve their goals faster than others. Such people make the best use of introversion in shaping their careers and poverty into being wise in expenditure. These introversions, or poverty, are faults in our social contexts.
When we concentrate on our profession or occupation, we are trying to create a self-image or brand ourselves in the environment we live in. In sum, branding is the backbone of our lifestyles. We are now above inferiority or self-doubt. We have started to search for the meaning of our lives. We are now creating our own ways of interacting with the outside world.
We are not afraid of our mistakes because we know how to correct them. Errors are converted into new designs. Confidence grows to make us more constructive in our daily affairs. When we save time from meaningless meetings with friends and relatives, it reflects that we are conscious of making proper use of time. Time lost never comes back. And we need to schedule as much productivity as possible on a daily basis.
The idea of self-correction is missing in the majority of people. They believe they are error-free. They lead a life without value addition and shifting paradigms after their 20s. They are anxious about the faults of others but not about their own myths and misconceptions.
Take current problems as input to design the paths ahead for fixing them. It is the easiest way to decide our future course of action. The road is full of challenges. Accept them. The roads show where to turn left or right or where to go after some pause. Now, the roads ahead are smooth.
The intensity of inquiry and the art of disagreeing are the best tools to transform our weaknesses into strengths. Go a little deeper and notice the hidden designs. Once we disagree, the pros and cons of the projects under consideration come to the forefront.
When we are only interested in winning or losing, we miss the ability to make the right decisions. We divert our attention from procedures and methods to the goal of the game, and we remain undone.
Our core purpose is to reauthor our stories based on our values and the bigger picture of life. Stay focused on the areas where we can achieve eminence. Once we achieve eminence, the desire to live for others is most likely to emerge, even in commoners.
Change comes when we start taking hard and nontraditional decisions. One of the hardest decisions is transforming problems into possibilities. Test this formula on a small scale and then enlarge it.
Never hide behind past glories and accomplishments. Take it as a source of our internal motivation. Forget the bitter past and plan for a shining future. Let our moves be incremental and not too heavy to carry on.
There are situations when things are still vague, but we can learn to convert this vagueness into our firmness while moving forward.
Let the inferiority of today be the reason for breakthroughs in our lives. Take inferiority as an input for entering unknown territories.
Stop complaining about everything in the snap judgements, which are full of flaws. Most of the worries we have today are unreal. We may be able to do something today that was not possible yesterday.
Never be disgusted by the low background, poor worldly support systems, or adverse comments. Rather, make use of merits like integrity, sincerity, transparency, and consistency, which are beyond the grasp of many of us.
No one can really imagine the faults of swimming until he enters the water to learn what swimming is. When we swim, we forget about the factors that prevented us from learning.
Not learning anything after student life is itself a great fault. Be a lifelong learner without counting rewards or seeking appreciation.
