Create stories that may be denied today but emerge one day.
×=×=×=×=×=×=×=×=
Let me start my discussion with a quote from Wilma Rudolph.
"Believe me, the reward is not so great without the struggle."
There is no life without struggle. We are born crying, but crying happens when we start facing challenges and resistance in our surroundings.
Many factors make anyone great, but a common factor is a determination to accomplish bigger tasks, chosen out of many discrepancies and anomalies in the social spectrum, including opportunities and resources.
Struggles for a specific purpose create great stories. Practically, stories are coloured by social norms. However great stories are often initially denied by the dominant groups. The process continues, and at one stage, the deep meaning and visible impact of action start to emerge.
When people deny our direction of working in the beginning and now start appreciating the impact after years and more years, the matter completes a full circle. In the end, even enemies agree with the fresh norms to be part of the whole thing.
For any mission, people rarely come to the same page instantly. Some agree some oppose, and people in between are indecisive and not ready to open their cards.
We all know how to flow in the direction of a stream, but only a few dare to go against the stream. Real life is full of setbacks, criticisms, obstacles, threats, and a variety of fears.
The aforesaid factors define the paths. People who succumb to turmoil remain just a crowd, and people who accept the realities move forward.
Life is an experiment that varies from person to person. There are many mentors for what is to be done. But you have to take full risk and responsibility for your designs in life.
People may not like your actions today. Long-range vision often falls into contradiction. Let the resistance happen. It is a litmus test of our determination.
Focusing on the goal is a great way to ignore the stones in the way. Great people have converted these stones into milestones.
At times, fire is necessary to ensure that the forest grows faster.
As we grow, we have more fears. To lessen the fears, Marie Curie says,
"Now is the time to understand more so that we may fear less."
Only fearless people can do something specific. To be fearless, it takes a whole life to set aside what makes common people afraid.
We suffer from a variety of inferiorities, like background, support systems, qualifications, and even our looks. To be distinguished, we have to take these deficiencies as facilitators.
No path in life goes straight. Be ready to go through many turns. These turns loosen your firmness. A person of principle sacrifices many comforts to establish a new social order. Be firm in moving towards your vision.
Dare to lead. Don’t count followers. Women and men are not on par in many instances in a larger part of the globe. Higher education is still a costly affair. The inequalities in many respects are not narrowing. Some people are busy getting solutions both at the micro and macro levels. They know their goals better than onlookers. They are going forward, ignoring the noise here and there.
Irrespective of who we are, we are writing stories almost every day, but most of them are waveless. We must create stories that connect with people, sooner or later. It is selfless service. It is built on sacrifices.
Do something unique to transform a common person into a different personality.
People are opposing or ignoring our mission today, but this does not mean that it is in jeopardy. Rather, it is a signal to go ahead.
