Do our best with the meagre known designs of the universe.
The universe is known to mankind at a minimum level, but whatever is known is enough for everyone. Ab initio, the human race is not only protecting their existence, but as they go forward, more surprises are added progressively. Many more things have yet to surface. The commoners may understand the universe in terms of oceans, mountains, energy, wind, water, darkness, forests, the orderly functioning of the sun, moon, stars, and so on.
Whatever and whoever we may be, we can’t deny the blessing of the universe and getting our dreams fulfilled if we are sincere about making things happen.
In any process, regardless of our choices, culture, and aspirations, there are two layers:
1. Our own design of things
2. Designs of the universe for all creatures, including mankind
We have freedom to do and make or break things as per our perceptions and dreams.
Here we must remember that the universe has its own designs for everything that favours us or disturbs us, and we either get our choice fulfilled or also go against our whole design and become losers. In all conditions, universal designs dominate. In no way can we design better than what has been gifted to us by nature.
The series of happenings suggests that we must conform to the demands of nature, accept the situations, analyse the matters, and keep struggling to construct what seems possible.
We see many things as calamities, though in the larger scheme of things, nature does the restoring.
When we ignore or deny the natural arrangements, disappointment, chaos, and conflicts occur at the individual level, in social issues, or in larger patterns of settings, respectively.
Just take one small example. Sleeping for 6 hours or so per day is the minimum requirement for human adults. If we cut it to 4 hours, we are sure to face health hazards, as we have denied the prescription of nature. We need fresh air, and the moment it is polluted above a certain limit, we suffocate and take urgent steps to protect ourselves.
We have many creatures all around us, and they are helpful to other creatures, and humans, as having a high level of intelligence, have to play crucial roles to make the world know their importance.
Going further, In fact, it is possible to lead a well-designed life as an adolescent, youth, adult, or old one, but our social contexts, the mindless spree of comparison, setbacks, success, excessive ego, and variety of combinations put life out of its tracks in many instances.
In real-life situations, all are important—our relationship, friendship, discipline, allowing the systems to operate in their natural arrangements, protecting flora and fauna—and it is not prudence to only think about a dream house or a well-paid job while keeping other things on hold. Nature has given humans the ability to do some related tasks simultaneously.
Where is the error? Things around us are subjective. We cannot fit everything into our limited frame of reference. Contradictions happen, but we have the capacity to reconcile.
Now amplify the matter in another way. At present, careers may be most important for students. But keeping the talent untapped amounts to denying the gifts of nature. Talent is the greatest of all blessings we possess. Keep working on what matters most, even if outcomes are not yet visible.
Our brain is a thinking tool and not a storage device, says David Allen.
Talent needs direction—that is, proper direction—lest we fall off track.
Let us be connected with people, places, causes, and consequences so that we may identify our roles in the allotted gifts of nature for all of us, make more faces smile, and make our contribution memorable.
