We all agree that responsibility differentiates one individual from others. Responsibility does not mean taking on an extra load. In reality, it stretches us to know to what extent we can go further. Responsibility is a process that makes intangible things tangible at all stages of our lives.
We can make our lives bigger than they are today, regardless of gender, age, class, climate, or occupation. Just be responsible and see how our capacity develops exponentially. Someone is not responsible. He or she is the first victim of this deficiency, not others. Someone is responsible. He or she enjoys the benefits to the full extent, emotionally, socially, financially, and spiritually.
Broadly, we belong to a family, formal group, society, or team. The power of responsibility makes the equation look like this:
1+ 1+ 1 + 1 + 1 > 5
When everyone contributes 100%, the result exceeds expectations. The above equation is wrong in theory but more than true practically. Anyone can examine the above equation at any place where real progress in a family, group, society, or organisation is happening. Just recall the scenes of a football team and how they reached the zenith repeatedly. It is the power of a team to look where other teams are still unable to practise. All members think that they alone are responsible for victory.
It is seen that the shirker of responsibility has done nothing other than invite chaos, poor memory, body weight, boredom, and a variety of other untowards.
If we decide to know who we are, the path goes through "being responsible" in all our endeavours.
The doses of responsibility need to be pushed since early childhood because irresponsible people lose confidence fast, even in small things, as they grow into adulthood and old age.
Irresponsible individuals just know about eating, sleeping, walking, criticising, talking nonsense, and spreading negativity. They never know how to overcome difficulties or solve even routine problems. Yes. They know how to play the blame game.
Anything we do with love is a sign of eagerness and responsibility. Showing helplessness well before attempting to do any task indicates that we evade responsibility.
Greatness without shouldering the burden of the world has never occurred to anyone since human development began. Greatness is not free. All have paid a huge price for being remembered by their descendants. They were responsible.
Irresponsible people are onlookers who enjoy the actions of players on the field while sitting in the gallery. They get hormones of pleasure but lose their own moments of creativity and innovation. This writing is also a creative effort to press the mind to divulge something worth sharing. It is a self-designed task. It is a means to be responsible. It is the best use of time and energy.
Illusionary fears and threats are the guides of cowards. They depend on others and accept the opinions of some influential members of the group without applying their own minds. They conclude everything with "luck" and never with labour and patience.
Embrace the responsibility to change our own worlds and the worlds of others, known or unknown.
