Intuition normally comes to show the right paths. 
Yes, we can do this even though the information is not sufficient. It happens to all of us, occasionally. A strong sense of urgency prevails, and we decide to do something without a lot of thought or planning or without keeping a task pending further. 
It is intuition. We must listen to our intuition. It is an inner calling. It sheds light on the remedy for handling awkward situations. It gives a sense of doing something all of a sudden. 
Intuition is a powerful tool to cut through complexity. It works like a key to open the lock on our looking forward. 
The normal course of action is to collect sufficient inputs in the form of data, findings, opinions, training, and related information. But it is not possible to get all the details as per our design in all cases. We start with vague ideas and end with desirable outcomes. We trust our intuition throughout the whole process and conclude that our inner calling is believable. 
We must act based on certain theories, principles, and plans. We must execute our schemes methodically. Nevertheless, at times, urgency demands that we act swiftly, and it is not the time to wait longer. Our intuition shows the path.
Say someone is postponing a meeting with a reputed individual for a particular purpose for a couple of months. One day, he or she put other important work aside. A meeting happens with the knowledge that it is the last day to get the work done. It was intuition that helped save that person from a huge loss. Trust intuition, which is always a friend, to save us from loss.
