Just stay to see a little deeper; else you are unsure always.
The habit of "asking" leads to erasing ambiguity from your knowledge.
Months ago, someone was inquiring about "aspects of charity." I was glad to send five pages from my note on this, covering the prescriptions in short. In fact, I had taken the details about charity from a research paper of more than 300 pages, giving all relevant parameters of supporting the needy financially. I remember that I had devoted three days to being updated about the fundamentals of charity at that time.
Somebody is interested in knowing how to apply the concepts of charity.
This was an occasion for me to have a deliberation to amplify "the essentiality of charity."
Aftermath: silence for months.
To my surprise, there was no seeking clarification at all. Recently, I reminded that person, referring to his inquiry about charity and my response in the previous quarter, but he was too cool, as if it happened casually.
This incident signifies two things.
1. I was curious to share my briefings about charity. I had put a lot of attention into having clarity about "giving" to others.
2. The inquirer was not at all serious about knowing about the charity.
A profound mismatch.
Strongly, the asker’s mind suggests that the matter does not deserve immediate attention. Or, he was interested in knowing something orally, in short. No turning of pages. Such a person might expect a response in one paragraph or so.
The knot in the above story is attitude towards learning and expanding awareness.
To me, it is a strong resistance of the folk not to be updated, even in areas influencing their day-to-day living.
Further, people are eager to have ready-made of anything rather than knowing even the minimum of things and applying that knowledge methodically.
People are gladly arguing about anything because they have no fundamentals. And they are busy correcting others, though they are inwardly more ruined than the audience in front.
The concept of hard labor is eroding. The majority have no acceptance that there is no substitute for basics.
"Doing yourself" is replaced with doing nothing in spite of being capable of doing it.
Normally, we consume enough time in displaying problems, making no effort to find remedies.
When we keep hammering, most likely one hammer will make the faulty machine operational.
Hammering denotes process. It is most important to move to the result.
Don’t be superficial.
Once you stay to look into anything, nature starts revealing many things.
Let me clarify. I work on the notion that "life is to learn and apply in real situations." I further accept that we must be curious to expand our awareness. It always helps and never hurts.
Why is there a shortcut to acquiring knowledge when all activities like bathing, cooking, driving, writing, swimming, and alike are done systematically?
All individuals have the potential to grow further, provided they value their existence.
The absence of a craze to keep adding to knowledge is a prime factor in keeping the majority at the baseline of pyramids of responsibility.
Precise
Clarity acts only when there is acceptance of ambiguity or confusion about anything on the other side.
Knowing less is not a shame, but living within those limits invites decay.
And the ultimate test of adding knowledge is to be on the path of self-discovery in terms of competence and conduct.
Life is made of actions, and the quality of our actions depends on increasing knowledge every day.
Keep knowing and correcting misconceptions.
Remember that poverty of mind is worse than another kind of scarcity.
