Keep self-learning a part of our daily routine.
Self-education is as necessary as obtaining degrees in our 20s. Most of us stop learning once our formal education is completed. Formal education is like the plinth of a multistory building. The construction of our real lives starts when we enter the world to struggle without any clues to problems and solutions. Every day is different in many ways. A new issue appears before the previous issue is fully addressed.
In this process, we, in fact, learn and get our confidence nurtured. Attending seminars, reading books of our choice, sharing our experiences, visiting places, and meeting people of different lifestyles all support us in becoming mature enough to face the challenges ahead.
Time is a capital, and it is to be utilised in making our occupations more meaningful. Instead of wasting our time on haphazard scrolling of screens, we can spare time comfortably towards informal education or learning while doing something.
In the absence of regular practices, we forget even the spelling and meaning of our main medium of communication. We need to be confident in our languages learned in school and college to derive benefits in real-life situations. Go through learning materials in the form of books, on websites, or by listening to scholars. These sources of learning are expanding every day.
Feel proud when we say that we are writing articles, learning a new language, learning to cook, or pursuing any segment of our interest.
There is no curriculum in self-education. There is no check like grading and exams. But the amount of confidence we feel while facing typical situations tells us everything we have learned beyond degrees and rewards.
Most of us flow as the circumstances dictate. Self-education gives us the strength to create new conditioning.
Informal learning encourages us to look beyond the immediate. It tells us life is vibrant, and its rays go beyond the means of earning and meeting necessities.
Remember that informal learning minimises the occurrence of regrets in our lives. Continue learning to fulfil our own dreams and vision and take advantage of opportunities without any "if" or "but."
