Let the hurdles themselves be a source of solutions.
Life is not smooth, and it becomes disappointing for people who prefer to live undisturbed. For idle individuals, even walking outside is a hard task. Hurdles come when we act. We get puzzled when obstacles are stringent. In fact, obstacles boost our mental power. In tough situations, we use our minds deeply to overcome roadblocks and move forward.
When we are uncomfortable, we think more. When a deadline is approaching, we invest more time to finish work on time. When we feel unsafe, we pay more attention to safety measures. We start taking sufficient water daily once we face dehydration or heat stroke.
When some problem is to be fixed, we usually look for outside help. Instead of looking outside, when we think a little deeper, we find that arrangements are available within our range to solve the issue. In the majority of cases, there are options to address the issue locally, but our traditional approaches force us to look far away, as usual.
When there are space constraints at our workplace, just by rearranging items in an orderly manner, space is created for smooth work. No external help is required.
When our focus is on the uncommon, we notice hurdles. In close observation, attention is diverted to seek what is possible in the strange scenario, and we find some common threads that lead us to some solutions.
Crowds overlook many things. Crowds discuss problems and leave the matter to be handled by outside agencies. Some of us have to think about solutions. When mind power is activated, some kind of remedy normally comes to our rescue.
We must learn how to take advantage of disadvantages. Disadvantages are equal to hurdles, and advantage means finding solutions within them. We must learn to search for solutions inside the box. With little attention, we generally remove the constraints and continue our efforts. Take some pain and see how difficulties are transformed into stepping stones.
When we start a business, regulations, market forces, competition, and margins of profit all seem to be problems. Once we are ready to face all these constraints, we get the issues resolved as if they were not the real issues.
With fixed mindset, we count every issue as hurdle. Thus, the issue is in our mind and not outside. We can expand the horizons of our thinking when we insist on looking into the matter deeply and are ready to face the worst if something goes wrong. We should remember that all great things are built by working on alternatives.
Even small hurdles become mountains when we give them space in our minds to stay. Hurdles need to be churned to know what is hidden inside. Take hurdles as opportunities to test ourselves and see what we can do with the given design of things.
