Leverage our feelings for grand living.
The purpose of life is to live fully. It is possible only when we feel abundantly. We human beings are different from other creatures because we have an immense power of sensing and realising the presence of things around us.
We continuously feel joy, sadness, elation, dejection, courage, confusion, and many other varieties of feelings. They vary not only in scale but also in depth. In the case of victory, one side feels like a great achiever, and the other side feels like a great loser in the same event.
Feelings are an inseparable part of our lives. We can’t keep them away, even for a few moments during the waking hours, in normal conditions.
It is true that all feelings are not expressed all the time. When people are not telling the truth, it indicates that they are suppressing their feelings. When we don’t express the hurt we feel because of something unacceptable, it creates a lot of stress and frustration.
Feelings are completely internal traits, while sensing is external. Emotions are a large part of our feelings. Emotions sometimes encourage us to accept the challenges and move forward. In the majority of instances, it leads us in the wrong direction. Despite all odds, managing emotions demands a higher level of practise. We must practise keeping our feelings expressed. Sharing feelings clears many misconceptions and misinformation and helps to bring more positivity into handling day-to-day affairs.
We meet the urgent need for help among the people living in our vicinity. It is because of empathy. It is a kind of feeling.
All our likings and dislikings are expressions of our feelings. All our activities are guided by our feelings.
As a general rule, we are more humane when we have more true feelings. We are not disturbed by the despondency around us. This is callousness. It shows a lack of humility in our spectrum of feelings.
