Living fairly in this unfair world
There is a lot of emphasis on the one aspect of life that is struggling. No struggle, no win. It is true. The question is how to decide the total force of struggle as well as the exact time span required to do some specific work.
Some are getting better results with small efforts, but many are getting less with higher efforts. Some are facing less resistance, while others face extreme resistance. In totality, we immediately infer that this world is not fair and is full of discrimination.
As a matter of fact, the world is not unfair to anyone. We are labelling this world unfair because of comparisons, our own deficiencies, a lack of determination, poorly defined goals, not looking forward, and so on. The people who believe that the outcome is not in my hands and our concern is limited to giving our maximum to our assignments accept the result, leaving no space for complaints.
When our planning, preparation, push, and precautions are sufficient, we normally get what we aim for. It is possible that two individuals do the same job with equal efforts, one gets the result, and the second returns empty. It may be because they had different amounts of conviction and assumptions. When there is any doubt at any point in time, the result varies. Where our assumptions are baseless, we face adverse consequences.
Things are not happening as we wish. Outside factors are sometimes favourable and sometimes unfavourable. It is normal. We have to see that there is no laxity on our part. If necessary, we have to double our efforts for the same returns.
We have to activate our internal power to find an alternative the moment something goes wrong. When a sailor finds storms in the midst of the sea, the only option is to manage how to move forward and not surrender. At times, we have better options.
Most of us are not fair in our own scheme of things. We don’t know how to adjust ourselves to ever-changing situations. New normals are not seen as opportunities but as obstacles. We judge everything without exerting effort to know the details. We accept ourselves as victims. It is purely stupid.
It is imperative to change our perception and be a person who says, "Yes, I can." In the end, we will conclude that we are empowered to get what we design, and any deviation occurs just to give us more.
