Mindfulness is a powerful tool with multiple benefits.
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
Mindfulness is a non-casual way of living.
•••••••••○○••••••••••••••
Mindfulness occurs when we do something with care and do not care what others think or say.
It is noticing and paying attention to our feelings and behaviours, not for the purpose of getting the appreciation or support of others. Here, activity and personal interest are in full alignment.
The basic ingredients of mindfulness are:
It is not a judgmental phenomenon.
The mind is not distracted.
It is applicable to any situation.
It is an outside expression.
It is non-spiritual in nature.
Living in the moment is the essence of mindfulness.
 Examples are:
mindful listening, mindful eating, mindful walking, mindful talking, and so on.
Mindfulness can be practiced by anyone and in any form to derive benefits. Mindfulness is played in the mind, but it improves our productivity, outcomes, and even adaptability.
On any off day, it was my routine to clean my reading room. It was a load on my mind until I started doing it with love and interest. After this change of mindset, the arranged papers added aesthetic value while looking at them. Now, this activity is not a burden but enjoyable. I learned this technique from the libraries in my student life.
A large library is the best place to understand the aesthetic value of keeping the books in an orderly manner, provided we have the art of looking.
Mindfulness is largely a function of attitude. If someone dislikes the smell of prepared foods, it is a matter of attitude. If someone is not careful about dressing in public, it is an attitude. Dressing properly is a matter of mindfulness for a short time, but its impact is long.
All senses—sound, smell, sight, touch, and taste—are sources for determining the qualities of mindfulness, depending on the things we are sensing separately or collectively.
In the dark nights, see the stars and enjoy these moments. It is mindfulness. Kids pay more attention to coloured designs; it is mindfulness.
So, mindfulness is simply being aware of happenings around us without wishing; it could have been different. Focus is the key to determining the scale of mindfulness. Here, minds are in rhythm with the objects.
 Benefits
++++++++++
It regulates emotions.
It diminishes stress and worries.
Ruminating is reduced.
It boosts confidence.
The immune system gets stronger.
It promotes creativity.
It controls distractions.
It enhances productivity.
It creates a sense of flawlessness.
In mindfulness, there is no need to be silent or sit in a corner. We have to be in active mode. It is for our regular activities. Mindfulness works as a therapy for attention deficit symptoms.
Time is what we need most, but we care less when it is available. Where we are committed, we are mindful. In a meeting where there are reluctant participants, the amount of collective attention is less.
Where we are stuck with our opinions, mindfulness is at an ebb. When we are in an unknown place, mindfulness is high. In driving and speaking, mindfulness is full.
Anyone can ascertain whether an activity is being done with love or not. When a task is imposed by others, we are less interested, and the output may be less than expected because the degree of mindfulness is low.
 In short
..................
Be grateful; we have a healthy life today. Pay attention to our existence. Let random thoughts come and let them go. Catch good ideas and opportunities. Learn to live a mindful life. It pays in many ways.
