Never assume our work is over.
All stages of life demand accomplishing productive work. Wherever necessary, we have to create our own tasks to be relevant in a family, society, or elsewhere, particularly as we age. The list of things to be done is endless. Some people spend their whole day eating, sleeping, meeting, and wandering when their main engagements come to an end. Such people are often not willing to move beyond their routines. It is simply the passing of days without any tangible outcomes. When we live consciously, we add to our wisdom and experience day by day. These are precious traits to be used for enriching the awareness and understanding of the people around us. People are in search of well-experienced people to follow their practises and take advantage of their presence. Let our living events be stories for growing youths and seekers of engagements. It is the responsibility of seniors to pass on good cultures to juniors for better continuity. A culture of sitting in front of the TV and browsing on mobile devices without a specific purpose is growing. This tendency must be curbed. Here, there is maximum entertainment and the least learning. We may use this time and energy for some productive and creative work. Some are hacking our attention and getting their purpose served, at the cost of not allowing our creativity to bloom. We are all creative if we look at the "how" of any task. Even in the area of specialization, we must admit that we know only small fractions of that job. There is always scope to learn, in whatever faculty we decide to improve. We come to know our ignorance when we open ourselves to further learning. We take holidays or other off days as nonworking days. Indeed, these are the days to learn what has been unknown to us hitherto. Keep our curiosity alive to make our insights stronger and stronger. All sorts of knowledge are useful, whether immediately or after a while.
