Opting for discomfort is not against comfort.
We are all looking for peace, stability, pleasure, and familiar surroundings, ignoring all motivation and inspiration to come out of these hooks. The majority likes to abide by the habits and routines that have evolved in the 20s. They are apparently satisfied with what they have and what they have achieved. They label themselves as makers of a strong foundation, which is enough to take all cares for days to come.
For them, opting for the next paradigm is not simply a shift but a denial of all the comforts they were enjoying. Of course, they have to reschedule themselves in many segments, like contacts, foods, culture, and climate, when entering new environments. Just to get to the next rung, they find the new move too costly to adopt.
Most of us are capable of doing more. But they are not aware of their own strengths. They do not relate themselves to resources already available to push them upward. For them, exploring more about cultures, living conditions, languages, ambitions, and other styles has no relevance.
They are not only missing a hidden mechanism for progress and living with new realities, but they also consider other things useless. They limit themselves to survival.
Going from comfort to discomfort is not the end. Nothing is static. Another cycle of discomfort to comfort is already taking shape. After a while, this discomfort will become a new paradigm with better components of comfort. Even the next elevated paradigm is waiting for the people who are daring to embrace discomfort and continue onward.
Only daring individuals know what it means to live a life with a higher degree of fulfilment.
