Paying attention to human resources
We all talk about productivity and progress. We all wish for peace and are eager to know the purpose of life. Humans are the prime force pushing things in a particular direction as per their preferences. But people are not equally forceful in all places. Whether a particular place is developed or undeveloped, it is the creation of people dwelling there. Thus, making human resources powerful needs to be a top priority.
But the question remains: how?
The first and foremost step is to raise kids in the best possible manner, irrespective of background, gender, or any other limitations.
The second step towards making people highly effective is education. Where education is absent, progress is slower. Education prepares the ground for awareness.
The third step is to make the people skilled and technology-savvy. It is required to keep people engaged in gainful activities. It relates to making people financially sound.
The fourth step is to make people stand out wherever they are. It is possible only when people understand the meaning of life.
When people are properly groomed and educated , they learn how to find a place in the overall arrangement of things. They are most likely to emerge as noticeable and responsible individuals.
While growing as responsible individuals, many salient factors play dominant roles, and a few of them are described as follows:
Social norms that varies from place to place. It includes culture, traditions, and regulations.
Ethical and moral norms are the backbones of living together in any environment. Important components of this segment are beliefs and character building, which include core values, tolerance, acceptance of conditions, adaptability, discipline, finding realities, and many more.
Beliefs start evolving in childhood, and they become the theoretical framework of our whole lives. When people grow up with myths and misinformation, their beliefs can’t be free from errors. All efforts are required to examine our orientation with issues we face in real life situations. We all find space for correction, every now and then.
Incidentally, people are more interested in accumulation of wealth as compared to capacity building of growing individuals under their influence. They like to raise comforts and think of everything as a convenience for all dependents. Clearly, we ignore human resources and promote physical resources. This anomaly needs to be rectified.
Coexistence is the law of nature. In contrast, it is a difficult task for all of us. We all fight for existing resources as if nothing more existed. Obviously, the missing links are the the possibilities of options and our capabilities to explore them.
Going onward, we may look into the power of trust. Trust ensures togetherness. Trust keeps the relationship strong. Trust keeps the systems operating even during odd moments.
In sum, human development does not mean preparing a person with hands, legs, and stomachs but rather gearing up their minds to do their best on all fronts in all phases of their lives.
