Principles of living together
There are some fundamentals that keep all creatures in harmony and provide opportunities to grow on this planet and beyond.
Humans are superior to other creatures because of their curiosity to know what is still vague or unexplored. In this process, there is excessive interference, which disturbs the overall natural combinations and causes loss to mankind and other entities.
All things are meant to make human lives on this planet better and better, as the stories of human existence and growth since the beginning narrate. We have to add something more to this spectrum of progress. Coming generations will explore more amazing things that are beyond the reach of human activity at present.
All conditions visible around us and in our knowledge are a mix of more dissimilarities and fewer similarities. Our food habits, culture, traditions, beliefs, and lifestyles are quite different from one geographic location to another part of the globe. On the other hand, all humans are in need of fresh air, drinkable water, edible food, and a bearable climate, which are common basic necessities for all of us.
It is thus imperative to find out how to ensure a more conducive atmosphere for all living bodies, moving forward from what has been achieved so far. The plain answer is to learn to live together in spite of all differences and be more generous with what we have. We have to follow the principles of acceptance, tolerance, and sacrifice in all domains.
The majority of our work happens at two levels: individually and collectively. Both are significant and complementary to each other. But focusing on individuals is more relevant when individuals are prone to blame groups for all that is not happening.
Individuals of common interest form a group. Collectively, they are more powerful, as we see in a team of players when all participants contribute 100% individually.
When it comes to individual performance, it is obvious that no one is less than another, provided the individual keeps his abilities expanding without being pushed by others. We must believe that troubles are appearing before us to boost our talent, not to prevent us from going forward. The disturbances in the sea have produced more skilled sailors than the stillness of the sea’s surface.
Simultaneously, we must know that a chick comes out of an egg on its own. Outside help at that moment would have been fatal. It is a great lesson for all of us.
There is a clear difference between seeking cooperation and being a parasite. Seek cooperation and extend cooperation for mutual benefits. It is the basic law of our survival and prosperity.
It is to reiterate that the principles of living together apply to domestic, interpersonal, professional, and larger groups equally.
