Searching Oasis within Boundaries
Beyond the puzzle of comforts and discomforts.
Circumstances were the contours of living for many people growing up with me since I was a teenager.
My boundaries, like resources, support system, upper limit, and obstacles, were the factors that were parameters for moving upward.
While moving from school to higher education, for me, financial support was a conspicuous limit. In my assessment, it was like taking uncalculated risks for a long span of three years.
No regular income to support my cost of education. Also, there was no opportunity to earn from other activities.
Nevertheless, I chose further study, setting aside the possibility of unbearable hardships.
Perhaps, my motto at that time was: let the situations come".
Then, I was totally in the phase of uncertainty, but the ability to jump into the " unknown "helped me a lot.
In the first year itself, I learned to complete my work with minimum expenditure, concentrate on my studies, and keep away from meaningless showing off.
Thankfully, Ranking High boosted my self-esteem, and my colleagues recognised it without taking my deficiencies in sports, music, and other outer activities into consideration.
By now, I was sure that my intention of higher studies would shape my reality bending the circumstances, whatever they are.
Going forward in my mission, I started convincing others that circumstances may be like deserts, but there are oases in them.
Anybody can trace those oases, believing in possibility systems - operating everywhere, every time for everyone.
Of course, it was a journey from a set of comforts to a variety of unsettling factors.
I made myself ready to face them.
This was a turning point in my career, and I was rewarded multiple times for what I invested in the initial stages of my career formation.
Indeed! The seeds of such thoughts were sown by my teachers while in school, but getting these inputs tested in personal spheres created the epitome of my life apart from creating ripples in the minds of growth-minded people.
Remember, your resolve is more powerful than the heaviest hurdles and lack of immediate support.
No matter how much bleak things are, there is always something to flourish.
