Self-realization moves mountains where narratives have fallen flat.

I share my feelings with the sole motto of minimizing errors and maximizing the possibilities of amendments in routines and habits with the people around me. In my assessment of things, I keep the door open for healthy discussion. I am not in a hurry to decide good or evil because such things, I agree, are conditioned. I know that harsh truths are not acceptable to all participants, but I take this route of tough exchange of views to convey some realities of life irrespective of age, gender, class, literacy, and background. By now, my experience tells me that effectiveness, i.e., "impact on others," matters more than the harshness and fastness of my expression. Though I was satisfied with my communication, its impact was a big zero in most instances. The purpose is defeated.
We listen to lectures in class because we have to pass the exam in a year or less than that. Likewise, we drive carefully on the highways to be safe from any mishaps. We listen to stories that suit my way of thinking.
On the other side, we are not interested in listening where there is no immediate fear of damage to health, image, enjoyment, recognition, or any other gain.
Foresightedness is the jewel of life, but only a few understand this truth in budding times. Even at the peak of their careers, many people prefer abrupt living.
I also witness that people desperately need water only when they are, in fact, thirsty. Otherwise, a glass of water has no value for sufficiently hydrated individuals.
Keeping fingers in the wrong places can’t produce good music. We also take junk foods, which are tasty even after knowing that they are not fit for health.
When I ponder the above realities, I infer that my intense eagerness to bring about desirable changes may not yield the expected results until "the other side" is ready to grab them.
A mismatch between giver and taker can’t have the right connections.
We, of course, listen attentively to matters that are solutions to our problems. When issues are not given the status of problems, even hard persuasion ends in nothing.
My calling to keep weight within limits was never heard until it was realized by the person who had been overweight for five years or so. It is still a mystery to me how the realization of normal weight came to the consciousness of that youth. No doubt, self-realization has done wonders. Reasons may be anything.
Self-consciousness matters most for any corrections. It is universally applicable.
Smoking is fatal, but this message has no meaning for someone who is getting triggered for action only after smoking. "I will see what happens" is the strength at that moment, and such individuals have learned to live without considering consequences.
The realization of time has saved many lives, as the study suggests. Delayed realizations of severe errors have given birth to many complications and threats to life( sometimes beyond corrections).
Prevention is always the right approach. This prevention generally asks individuals to be time-conscious and health-conscious, focusing on what is under control and believing in their strengths. This prevention becomes a reality only if we realize that it is in our favour.
Realization comes from thinking in a particular direction. Thinking is like a seed that grows into the shape of a tree, free from many ailments and anxiety.
Realization is often associated with discomfort. People do everything for comfort. It is to emphasize that discomforts are not opposites of comforts; rather, they are extensions of comforts at higher levels.
In this article, it is not intended to demean the process of persuasion. But all persuasions are not equally effective in all situations. When persuasion invokes self-realization, changes happen.
Whatever the compulsion or circumstances, wrong is wrong, which may not be harmful today, but we must not ignore the question mark.
Consciousness always pays more than the pains we bear in effecting the change.
