Sensing imagination in our acts of possibility
=========================
Imagination is part of everyday thinking. It is not something planted separately in our minds. Imagination moves faster than our actions and, therefore, is not noticed in many actions. It is also true that the range of imagination varies from person to person and action to action. A child enjoys journeys with inputs of imagination, while seniors complain of inconveniences because they are aware of the journey and destination and there is nothing to excite them.
While playing on the field, imagination tells a player how to move next. When cooking, imagination works, and a cook changes the process to achieve better texture and a memorable taste. A designer moves to design something from his imagination. We read the pages of a book with some imagination for clarity and concept.
The root of all changes in this world is nothing but imagination. We all have this unique gift of imagination, but many do not know to what extent it can be stretched.
To know is nothing at all; to imagine is everything, says Anatole France.
Looking back at our own concepts of the need for resources and support for high ambitions seems erroneous. And it is now obvious that those limitations were in our minds, not in our paths of accomplishment. Small thinking was the reason for low performance, not the circumstances.
"A bird sitting on a tree is not afraid of the branch breaking because its trust is not in the branch but in its own wings." Charlie Wardle.
Imaginations are our wings. It is our strength that is capable of any miracle. But we have to believe it. Imagination is not reserved for great people. It enters into the acts of even ordinary individuals. But it is negativity that creates mountains before we initiate working on new projects or products.
Materials are the same, but Taj Mahal is unique. The reason is the imagination of people who brought attraction to this structure not seen in other structures elsewhere.
People are creating new entities from the materials existing in nature, but the scale of the differences is caused by their depth of imagination.
"What is now proven was once only imagined." William Blake
What was impossible centuries ago has been made possible by working on imagination so far. Efforts are going in this direction to add more, possibly at a quick pace.
We must try what seems difficult today, using our imagination as a tool, and experience something new. It is just to witness the power of imagination ourselves.
We must use our faculty of creativity. It needs to be activated; otherwise, it is dormant. There is creativity even in rearranging household items in limited spaces. There is satisfaction in reusing items like clothes for other uses. It is imagination.
We must add life to our days. It means doing something different regularly that is not on the minds of those around us.
Clinch a few wins, say in a quarter or year, to demonstrate our capabilities. Be curious and reach the unreachable.
Don’t let the outside forces down our power of imagination and dreaming.
What is the demand for our lives today? It opens the windows of possibility and shows the points where to strike. We must sense beyond the reach of our five senses.
The possibility of a win-win exists in all actions, provided we go the extra mile. As we grow older, our roles demand more angles of imagination to address real problems.
"Wealth is not having a lot of money; it is about having a lot of options." Chris Rock.
Options are the function of imagination. We have to find options even in flawed conditions. Life is not always fair; we all agree.
A responsible person can’t work without imagination. When there is imagination, we feel excited. We focus on processes and believe in possibility.
 Last line
Imagination is a tool that has created new realities again and again.
