Taking things for granted is still chancy.
♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧♧
Uncertainty keeps us moving.
--------------
We face many calamities, but again, we take things for granted. We repeat playing good or bad, just or unjust, as usual. It is in human nature, but it is not a fitting virtue in respect of feelings and emotions, which are keys to human behavior.
Humans are separate from other creatures based on their strength of sensitivity and their ability to not take things for granted.
We are within a family, society, or some boundaries, being okay in all respects. Nevertheless, it varies in many respects from time to time.
Even relations between spouses fluctuate from highly glued to just living together or up to separation in extreme cases. We know how positions and recognition change in given structures and social systems.
The individual taking things for granted normally suffers more than those who do know the elements of fragility in relationships, love, working together, or the turn of events.
Humans have connections with people, places, infrastructure, nature, and many other things. All these connections are subject to variation. We must acknowledge this precisely and regularly.
We are not grateful for water supply, electricity, sunshine, breeze, or peace. We take everything for granted. In the morning, there is no electricity. We get disturbed because the electric supply has been taken for granted.
We know the value of transport when vehicles face breakdowns along the way. We know the value of health when suffering from some ailments. We know the value of friendship when nobody is there in times of crisis. We know the value of parenting when kids are trackless. Thus, nothing is granted, even if we are extremely careful and helpful to others.
We have to build trust. We have to nurture relationships. We have to make the best use of natural resources. We have to be hopeful for things to happen as per our plans for tomorrow. But all these things are subjective, variable, and risky.
When we are ready to face unpredictable circumstances, we manage the untoward situations effectively instead of succumbing to them.
People do everything to be secure in all respects, but there is no guarantee of being unharmed by the changing equations and conditions.
Remember that many things are not in our control.
We are not grateful for what we have. Reason: Things are granted. When we lose a stream of income, we know the value of money. A farmer feels the importance of the rainy season when it passes without adequate rain.
There are areas where we leave nothing to chance. People have tall claims of certainty. But whatever it may be, there are spaces for wrongs in any arrangement. Such things are reported frequently.
The beauty of life is embedded in appreciating the unexpected. Humans are capable of handling whatever comes their way. There is no point in being relaxed and certain.
Falling happens, but not rising is our decision. People who believe in the vagaries of situations take nothing as shocking. They know to reemerge, even from worse happenings.
