Ten barriers that don’t allow the folk to come out of foul and rotten thinking.

Resistance to change nullifies efforts to replace bad behaviors with new ones.

A few days ago, a person asked me why people are not absorbing what you communicate for their growth and soundness. I did not elaborate instantly, as the question was too deep to explain in a short time.
It was a blunt question but not untrue.
I gave a simple example. A farmer is sowing good seeds, but there is negligible or poor germination because the field is not supporting the seeds to germinate. My message is like a seed, and my audience seems to not be ready for it in most places.
I hope seeds will get the right environment to grow and glow, at least with a few individuals.
A few hours later, I was on a journey, and the above question was roaming in my mind.
What I gathered in this process is outlined here, as I always intend to spread whatever my experiences and insights tell me.
In my understanding, there are many reasons people are stuck to their persisting points of view by and large.
Important reasons are:
1. They believe they are okay in all respects.
They know what they believe is final. In reality, they depend on others to decide what is suitable for them.
They are unaware of their strength. They hear what they like to hear.
2. They don’t like any disruptions in their routines and patterns.
People do what they are taught up to the education level. They resist if anything is added to their understanding and willingness.
They follow routines to feel happy.

3. Messages are lost when the audience finds them mismatched with trends and expectations.
They weigh everything in terms of material gains and losses in stuff.
4. They have no courage to go against the direction of winds in any matter.
They like to flow with people around them. They never question their own choices. They are afraid to try something new.
5. They don’t know they are part of a herd with a closed mindset.
They are constantly judging things without making any attempt to go into details.
They just know right and wrong and nothing in between right and wrong all the time in all spheres of life.
6. They live in a world of comparisons and accumulation.
Priorities and choices vary from person to person, even in a family. It is a common factor everywhere. This creates a gap between what you say and what they comprehend, what you give and what they retain.
7. They listen to forget, as comfort is the key to their lifestyles.
Comfort is a concern for all of us. It needs to be disrupted to get the next level of comfort. Hardly a few dare to embrace it.
8. They never accept their narrowness in thinking and laziness in their actions.
They are catching negative stories much faster than something positive in the same milieu.
9. They feel elevated with short-term gains and feel depressed quickly, even in small turmoil.
10. Receivers of good messages are calm and silent while rejectors make a noise. Rejectors are in the majority as they are made of circumstances.
Receivers are just here and there, but they are capable of changing the conditions.

Let the matter be concluded as under:

It is not surprising when people openly or silently do not agree with what I mean to convey.
I am struggling that the messages of inner changes are well accepted in society, though they are free to examine the merits.
Ignorance is the sole factor pushing them out of wellness and prosperity. Even then, they feel all-knowing and mature.
The tendency to blame the outside world for everything prohibits a person from improving on any count.
The moment a person starts looking inside more than outside, positive changes start to spread.
