The degrees give us an initial kick and not more.
The degrees help us enter the practical world and nothing more. The craze for degrees and competing exams actually limits our varying areas of growth in the early periods of life, when chances to flourish in literature, creativity, and understanding the phenomena are extensive.
We spent about twenty years on this format of our career path. Then we enter the performance phases. Now there is no syllabus, and the design of questions is also difficult to predict. Neither the questions nor the answers are known. Things are opaque, but we have to face them in a highly transparent manner.
We are not born with limits. It is our choice to limit ourselves. First, we invest in getting certificates from renowned institutions and then do courses to be adequately skilled. It is, of course, required. But it is not enough to guarantee success. We chase success, and mostly success eludes us. It is common for all.
The reason is simple. There is no standard definition of success. It varies from person to person and condition to condition. Success today may turn into failure tomorrow.
Then what is the way out?
When good moments arrive, enjoy them fully without worrying about the next milestone. Now prepare for your next goal, keeping the big goal of our lives in mind. Don’t wait to celebrate success when we become renowned figures among the top achievers.
We also keep the parameters of success shifting from time to time. It happens to all of us.
Some of us are mentally strong; some are fearless; some are creative; some are more analytical; some are rational; and we all support each other to push the outside world forward.
The point is to be useful in some way. We can’t be all things to all people, but we can ensure that the system is in need of us. Be inseparable. Find the element of success, not only through monetary gain but also through our participation and contributions in the whole arrangement.
