The habit of "giving" is fundamental to our existence, but who considers its essence?

Without helping hands, the math of life remains unsolved.

Accumulation evolves, but sharing what you have is learned. There is accumulation where there is no distribution of whatever we have.
Accumulation necessitates distribution to have more in the next.
Cycling of water explains how the law of nature operates. The phases of solid, liquid, and gas meet the requirements of all creatures in and around the planet.
Here conditions change, not for fun but to run the show of nature.
Likewise, you cannot be in the same conditions. As you age, many things are visibly added or deleted.
Human needs spread to food, health, shelters, awareness, conveniences, and opportunities.
Human needs, varying in scales and satisfaction (as said above), can be fulfilled when we allow generosity to operate at all levels, realizing their significance.
"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention." Oscar Wilde
When I traveled standing for hours, I felt if someone was ready to accommodate me, that was possible. Probably they were careless looking at the fact it is an issue for which I have to suffer.
Some people need your support every day, but it is not your priority, and you close your eyes to such awkwardness.

Every time, it is not the money that is required in the crisis or adversity. Just words and ideas work wonders, as we watch all around.
Generosity must be a part of upbringing, so that some, if not many, may carry this lesson in practical life.
Many forget the value of sharing and caring because they pursue instant gratification. They don’t count the value of smiling on the faces of the deprived. They are confined to their world of expanding consumption.
We seek happiness in our career, lifestyle, luxuries, power, and recognition that are never forever.
We all know it, but comparisons and unchecked competition keep us chasing those we need not.
On the other side of the coin, what we contribute (which may be minuscule) remains for the next generations to ponder and quote.
We are reading words of wisdom left behind by the people who have gone through a lot of troubles and torture hundreds of years ago. It is their contribution. We are the beneficiaries of solving the math of today’s living conditions using those insights.
"You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough." Mae West
The majority love to listen to the noises of the world, getting nothing out of it. Examine where your time goes. Are you daring to side with sufferers?
Remember that you are free to choose what is right. Nevertheless, when empathy and compassion are missing in your choices, practically, you are just surviving.
"If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way." Napoleon Hill
The charity was in existence when humans started living in clusters.
Charity is never a huge task. It is always a choice.
Charity is just calling someone about wellness, sincerely. It keeps the bonds of closeness intact. It is a small act with ripple effects.
Being good is not child play. But the process of enlarging goodness is the crown that is reserved for humans in this universe.
"Life is good when you are happy, but much better when others are happy because of you." Pope Francis
Going a little extra: Do easy things repeatedly to make an impact. Keeping doors free from rubbish (an example) makes it easy to attract others to follow. It is a message for all who are there.
Let me add an extended version of "Helping Hands." in this story.
Help the people to stand out. Skill formation is the answer to lowliness among people around you. Do something, if not anything large.
If you help a person to do dairy, it may give him a livelihood instead of just donating clothes that may not last long.

Key takeaways

● You may need a helping hand tomorrow. Today, it is your turn to take care of others.
● You lose nothing in practising charity. It appears as a loss, but it is an opportunity to create more.
 ● You can’t estimate abundance in nature. So let the generosity be a habit.
● Visit the places where people are clustered who are helpless. Try to understand their sorry states.
 ● You need not be rich to be generous. It is a misconception.
● To be generous, consider the situations of people who are suffering today.
Finally, search for happiness in the act of "giving," which is the essence of our presence in particular situations.
