Though content with what you did, it is short on purpose.

Life is to go beyond normal.

People get involved in active life in such a way that they are content with status, bank balances, diversification, exposures, innovations, competing with others in adding stuff, promotions, recognition, offspring, and many others.

They are fulfilling their duties towards family, relatives, societies, and themselves, not leaving any stone unturned.

They take pride in expanding the business, getting dependents employed, doing routine charity work, attending social gatherings, and inventing other niches of satisfaction.

They are fully satisfied. They have checked (okay) all boxes of responsibilities and feel free.
,
Nevertheless, there were boxes (as illustrated below) that were missing in the list of actions all the time until you entered the passive life or at the low ebbs to life.
1. No bridge, only walls
I belong to that place. I am superior in that respect. I like the people who think in my way. These are the walls of life. Narrow thinking breeds separation.
Largely, there is no effort to have a bridge to connect divisions. In appearance, we are the same—two eyes, one nose, two ears, and one head. Simultaneously, numerous concepts govern how we think and respond to situations.
During peak performance, we never take steps to have an open-handed approach. We seldom discuss realities, as we have no time to nurture positivity.

2. Less reality, more show
We indulge in unhealthy competition. We never mind if someone is hurt knowingly or casually. The craze is to prove better than others, even if genuine are thrown out.
3. Trends
We flow with trends in shelter, consumption, luxuries, and the superiority complex. We forget the lessons of acceptance, tolerance, coexistence, and simplicity as if they are for the bottom lines.
4. Unfounded worries
We are more worried about what is going to happen next. We inquire whether our stability is in jeopardy. We have more complaints and rampant talk of discrimination. Loss of frills after retirement is a concern for many.
Thus, negativity spreads without turning to the hidden power of positivity that we are born with.
"A ship in harbour is safe, but that is not what ships are built for." John A. Shedd
Worries are to be transformed into a sea of possibility in all scenarios. We have to work on missing links.
5. No tangible contribution
"Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." Albert Einstein
A contribution makes a long-term impact; otherwise, nothing remains. Sharing knowledge is important; otherwise, it loses its worth. If I make a person skilled, it is more than sympathy.
6. Unworthy resistance.
People listen to others. Things that look inconvenient are rejected.
"Too many people listen to the noise of the world instead of themselves," says Leon Brown.
We have no time to grasp our inner voices, which are to reframe us when new normals appear.

7. Not going the extra mile
Keeping capability limited is a common deficiency. It is essential; we must do something to be eminent in our chosen field and be remembered by others for a long time.
"Always go too far, because that is where you will find the truth." Albert Camus
8. Less focus on the miseries of people.
"The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intentions." Kahlil Gibran
As said above, our care for others deserves top consideration.
We talk high about kindness but low about its application. We are immune to the sufferings of a large section of people, as we are self-centred. This box of kindness is almost absent in life mapping.
9. Not tangible sacrifice.
Sacrifice is the glue on which human existence is structured. We celebrate occasions of sacrifice, but in reality, this needs to be assessed to determine whether the purpose is fulfilled.
10. Living with pride.
Pride is never appreciated, but a few of us are exerting our will to be free from this vice. Pride is a curtain that does not allow the side of humanity to be seen.
11. Designing others inferior repeatedly.
"Strength lies in differences, not in similarities." Stephen Covey
Incidentally, we label the differences as superiority and inferiority, layer by layer, as if this is the only option. Instead of correcting ourselves, we count on others' inferiority, which may be mostly imaginary.
12. More attached to perishable assets.
Take care whether the ladder of your life is leaning against the wrong wall.
Assets matter for a short time. It is of no help to connect the people by removing the segments and factions among them.
13. Offering to the world
In the end, all your words and actions will become stories. Looking at this, we must do something to be memorable.

"The average man consumes what the wise create." Maxime Lagace
14. Tag of uniqueness
Being original always leads to disclosing your distinction. Staying true to your values keeps things in order. Being focused on what is not yet central to your functioning opens up new landscapes. Wonders happen when you have been living ignorantly for decades and now you are awake.

In short
Create new boxes apart from the boxes of necessities and duties. See that new boxes are not allowed to remain blank.
In the absence of new boxes, life is empty, even though you have been great during the peak.
Take a fresh list of what is yet to be done to add value to the lives of others, whoever they may be.
These are the right reasons to live fully.
