We all have reasons for any issue.
••°°••°°••°°••°°••°°••°°••°°
Daily, we are facing a lot of issues. Some are painful, and some are joyful, expressed fully in one way or another. And many things we come to know as news or views have the least impact on our feelings and emotions. Life follows patterns like this.
As humans, we are not immune to any issues connected to us, directly or indirectly. However, the degree of feelings varies from meager to maximum. News of accidents makes the readers less disturbed than the affected facilities. Remote people just explain while a family is ruined.
The matter gets twisty when we indulge in deciding whether something is just or unjust, ethical or unethical, beneficial or harmful urgently. Most of the time, our ignorance or waywardness makes simple issues complicated.
It is obvious that there cannot be two truths for the same episode at the same time, but our reasoning creates a situation like two truths.
"Feeling is the voice of the body, reasoning is the voice of the mind, and conscience is the voice of the spirit." Kenneth E. Hagin
Power of mind is little known, even to the holder of it. Of course, it is much more than what a person has done with it. Reasoning is produced in the mind. In fact, ignorant people are more aggressive than informed individuals. It happens because reasoning is easy to frame and put our thoughts forward.
Practically, it is observed that arguments or reasoning get stronger when the weaknesses of one another are highlighted. This is the route preferred by those who have reasons to keep the matter hanging, in the sense that there is no effort for consensus. It is a sign of close-minded people.
Indeed, we need reasoning to go deeper into the matter and draw some conclusions. Reasoning is required in real-life situations. It helps to discover the unknown facts. Facts are not final. They are based on some data, figures, or narratives. There are possibilities for unearthing new truths that have remained covered so far in the absence of investigation.
Reasoning opens the doors of interpretation, or understanding. Awareness makes the qualities of reasoning sound and acceptable. Awareness is a process, and it is acquired when we work on resolving something, keeping long-range benefits in mind.
Remember that it is only actions that bring about necessary changes. A war of words may console for a while, but action only changes the scenarios.
Reasoning is forceful only when we know the history of divergent views, the context of the matter, the values of participants, social equations, and the background of differences thoroughly. In such a situation, coming to terms with reality becomes smooth.
Reasons influence the decisions. The reasons may not be authentic, but the way they are made known to the public makes them on par with truth.
As we grow wiser, reasons come with inputs that are not easy to deny. So, we have to not only accumulate words of wisdom but also live with them to influence others. While listening to words, people also count who is explaining and what his or her past is.
Reasons are required to convince some people of something, particularly the current scenario. We must have the necessary details. It must be free from biases or suitability.
When we are more focused on winning, the chances of getting the reality are likely to be reduced. For fairness to prevail, it is imperative that we be realistic, even if we are to pay the costs.
Final words: Reasoning must touch on the ground realities and roots of problems in the same way a doctor prescribes medicine for an ailing person.
