We have more reasons to stand tall, even in hostile situations.
====================
We all look outward, and hardly a few know how to look inward. Looking outward is essential, but how we assess and interpret outer happenings makes a huge difference in our lives. It is our perception.
Perception matters, irrespective of who and what we are.
I attempt to convince people to look inward to manifest their strengths. Against these prescriptions, they have common complaints that they are not getting enough space to flourish and that many factors are against them.
We are stuck here.
I feel oddity in this contradiction. I see that people are surrendering before striving to get anything. But they are never ready to accept their flaws. They find no fault as if they were born to be victims.
Conditions are man-made, and they are constantly changing depending on who pushes or pulls them. When we are not playing our roles, others gain dominance.
I just recall the pre-professional era when my preparation supported my getting into a reasonable career, ignoring all factors for and against me decades ago. It was my working on my potential that helped me attain what I decided.
I got the clue that my inner strengths had overpowered the imaginary negative factors, whatever occurred to me at that time. This clue kept me working on my strength, more than counting the winds blowing against me.
I firmly believe that the world needs talent and fortitude to make things happen, regardless of location, occupation, or ambition. It was in the past; it is applicable today, and it is to continue onward.
Cursing the environment is an input that causes negativity. It does not need any proof. We are using our energy to curse others.
I repeat the narrative that is a catalyst for my efforts at different stages of pursuing something.
"Why am I any less?"
The above five words have given me impetus to be better than others.
No if and but.
I learned that when the environment is tough, I need to double and redouble my efforts.
It is important to keep in mind that any hostile conditioning is short-lived. They cannot ruin the bigger picture of life for any individual. Collective efforts at any time also make things happen when intentions are to serve the greater interest and abide by everlasting moral laws.
Many of us are strong in theories but weak in practices. Practices matter more than preaching. Conversely, people get strong motivation off and on, but it no longer works to translate into action.
There are occasions when complainants fail to realize that they are aggressive and how it creates suffering for others.
Further, know that defeat does not mean the end of everything. It must inspire us to make a strong attempt next time.
Sufferers count all the disadvantages. They have omitted to count the advantages that were available at the time of free and fair play.
The phrase "you are better than you think: is often repeated in all environments, but I have seen it limited to conversation, not practice.
Likewise, the slogan "Our life is what we pay attention to" is also just a slogan.
We pretend that the budding generation is going astray, but seniors do nothing to correct the situation. Rather, we are blaming outside factors for every distortion. Are we fair in our assessment?
""""""""""""""
We have sufficient reasons to be performers in any field, provided we refuse to blame others for our shortcomings.
We may fall, but we must know how to stand up.
