What form our beliefs, and how do they design our lives?

We have sufficient clues to redirect ourselves from fluff to forward-looking, but we choose the short and convenient option.

We all have some sort of belief, and they are cardinal to the choices we make in our lives.
We choose ethics over earnings, hard labour over handouts, self-help over seeking human blessings randomly, responsibility over fault findings, and alike.
On the other side:
I can’t do it; it is not my concern; people are against me; I am not so resourceful; we are born to be like this; and many other negativities are well spread.
Going a little forward, we announce that we can win if we are aggressive; we need name and fame to be powerful and successful; money makes us great; the end is more important than the means or processes we adopt.
These are just glimpses of the horizon of our beliefs. Not all are exactly in these boxes of beliefs, but the majority are in negative zones.
Take a very simple anecdote:
In my early homely atmosphere, there were selective food items because some available items were classified as unhealthy. Today they are favorites in our dishes.
Today, food items are grouped as desirable or undesirable based on studies and findings. Even then, it is not final, and research is on.
Believing in anything is not bad, but the sources that make our beliefs so strong are usually opaque and unexamined.
Our beliefs start evolving from home, then from what we are taught, then from societal norms, then exposure to different roles, visiting places, interacting with strangers, and so on.
Often people from weak backgrounds stay to their beliefs and keep them as final words. It may be illiteracy, lack of awareness, following old sayings, insecurities in unknown territory, and more particularly unwillingness to unlearn that make them glued to initial learning taking as the end of the learning process.
"Just because you believe something firmly does not make it true. Be willing to reexamine what you believe." William young.
As observed, doubts and fears are the foundations of lowness in the lives of the people. Such folks are invariably succumbing to given circumstances.
"Old beliefs die hard even when demonstrably false." E. O. Wilson
It is seen that beliefs are transferred more rapidly than providing opportunities to expand awareness.
When you are eager to have some paths of living, you get them effortlessly as you wish.
It again justifies the proneness of the people to an easy route.
In this context, Arthur Dante has appropriately said, "When I transfer my knowledge, I teach. When I transfer my beliefs, I indoctrinate."
The most fundamental weakness is that we depend unnecessarily on the outside world for the smallest decisions, though we are capable of ascertaining what we need to do.
In the fast expansion of the information ecosystem, verification and references are not hard to have as compared to scenarios in past centuries. However, the pattern of formation of beliefs is not yet keeping pace with changing connectivity, e-learning, mobility, and emerging solution-oriented platforms.

The following three words are so powerful that they can revolutionize the life of any individual of any place, no matter what their upbringing is:
Believe in you.
But be truthful and say, Have you streamlined your innate power?
It is "no" from all sides.
Then where the fault lies. We are responsible for our unfounded beliefs.
We need to discard superficial living. A little detail of any issue opens the door to realities. In this process, beliefs are most likely to be modified, upgraded, or even reversed.
Experience indicates that the majority believe this way or that way, though they inwardly feel inadequate in many pursuits.
Some people are willing to examine their perceptions, associated with their beliefs, but they lack the courage to challenge social pressures, likely loss of images, criticism, and other hazards.
"Preconceived notions are the locks on the door of wisdom." Mary Brawne

Then what do you need to do?

Examine weaknesses in belief systems and get them elevated to update with things unfolding.

Believe in channelling latent strengths so that you forget indescribable beliefs.

Let it be highlighted: You can change your conditions by changing your attitude and perceptions.

Even small actions must be properly justified and adequately understood.
