What we witness is declining values across cultures and lands.

Do we march towards embracing the realm of stupidity?

Yes, we are complacent and inviting "the attitude of unconcerned" to dictate our discourses and decide our reactions.
Stupidity has been a factor in all ages, but it is expected to be marginalized when we are amid plenty of systems to ensure fair social order.
I am swamped with the view that stupidity is rising across human conditions. People are just witnessing things happening around them—just or unjust.
I feel people are divided because they are biased and prejudiced. They interpret more than introspection.

It is, of course, surprising.

We live in a well-connected world with fast-growing technology and far better access to natural resources. We are in the age of comparisons and accumulation and continuous learning of diversity.
In this brightness and forwardness, I infer that there is a decline in morality, humility, and togetherness—the basic fabrics of our coexistence and consistent growth.
Let us delve into "the whys" of all these fundamental deteriorations.
We consume what the media and so-called inchage of prosperity feed us.
We are not striving to dig to get the reality.
Most of us are in quest of instant gratification. We are looking at short-term gains on the cost of what nature is ready to provide in the long term.
We envy more in the strength of others rather than nurturing our strengths.
We are not hesitant to be dealers to gain taking advantage of erring groups. We are not refusing to fish in troubled waters.
We are looking at things superficially and seeking the opinions of those who are befooling the masses.
We are opting for unexamined dimensions of our lives.
The characteristics of the greater collective good have made the world progressive. It is still operative. But speedy slips in this area are a serious concern.
Hardly a few are devoting their time, intelligence, and energy to make their landscapes far better. The majority are engaged in just adding their stuff, anyhow.
People are getting expertise in justifying the end, irrespective of the means they have applied. Means are secondary, and the end is their primary consideration.
The element of sacrifice is almost missing in the majority of us. We are engaged in many traditions, but not bothering to apply the core of those to real-life happenings.
The space of our values is shrinking, and dominance and superiority in power are filling the gaps.
We forget that we have no control over all parameters of growth and stability. This is the reason for growing stupidity even in well-informed classes.
Values like integrity, punctuality, keeping promises, empathy, sacrifice, hard work, and contribution are ever applicable in all conditions, and they guarantee our prosperity and wellness. But who will remind the modern and materialistic classes of people around us?

Final words

Declining values can be restored when we just keep the people reminding them that values are the core of our existence.
Humanity can’t thrive in the absence of well-tested values.

These issues of stupidity are surmountable with high degrees of moral courage.
We are capable, but we have to be ready to lose selfishness for the larger benefits of people not daring to raise genuine concerns.
We are eager to be ever smiling but not ready to keep it spreading, even in our surroundings.
Ethical norms are learned, and they can’t be imposed by masters governing the systems and wellness.

Let’s be bold to enjoy living a life true to ourselves and not the life on the lines prescribed by self-centred segments.

Let’s raise the bar of self-awareness and self-regulation to combat stupidity.
